At Shayer Education we offer educators and parents a fun and effective
program to help students improve their reading skills. Research has shown
that students who master the first one hundred high frequency or sight
words increase their reading fluency by more
than fifty percent. This translates into
being able to read one-half of all printed
material! Many of these most frequently
used English words are not spelled
phonetically and it is through instant word
recognition and automaticity that students are
able to not only improve their reading skills but
gain self-confidence and become life long readers.
